Outsourcing to succeed
Last week, I was asked whether it was possible to out-source marketing activities successfully - a question I suspect that was founded on the potential savings to be made in man-power in yet another budget-busting plan to beat the economic downturn.

Build it and they will come
It would appear that all is not lost as far as Woolworths is concerned. The brand name has been purchased by the Daily Telegraph owners Sir David and Sir Frederick Barclay, and will fall within the Shop Direct Group, home of brands such as Littlewoods, amongst others.
